Most boards still run on email attachments and WhatsApp forwards.
Papers out of control
Confidential papers sit on personal phones. Nobody knows who opened, forwarded or printed them.
Late packs, unread packs
Papers trickle in the night before. Directors walk in unprepared and the meeting runs long.
Decisions that vanish
What was decided, who owns the follow-up and whether it got done lives in someone's inbox.
Your board, in one secure place.
Directors arrive prepared on laptop, iPad or phone. The Secretary saves hours on every pack. Every decision is on record.
Papers on time, kept safe
Everyone sees “5 of 7 papers uploaded” and what is still outstanding. Papers open when the Secretary releases the pack, watermarked with each reader's name.
Every director prepared
Read every paper on any device, track your own pre-reading, and keep private notes or share a question with the board before the meeting.
Decisions between meetings
Circular resolutions with a deadline and a pass rule. Directors vote from their phone, confirm each vote, and the result goes straight into the register.
A decisions register you can defend
Every decision is numbered, with the vote, any dissent, the meeting and agenda item, and the actions it created. Searchable and exportable to Excel.
Actions that get done
Every action has an owner, a due date and a status. Overdue items are flagged for the whole board, and directors can comment on progress.
Governance you can prove
An audit log of who opened and did what, declared conflicts of interest, restricted papers, and attendance and pre-reading reports for the Chair.

Frequently asked.
Do directors need to install anything?
No. Simple Board runs in the web browser on laptops, iPads, tablets and phones.
Is there a limit on users?
No. One price covers every director, executive and secretariat user.
Do committees cost extra?
No. Audit & Risk, Finance, HR, ICT or any other committee is included free.
Can the board decide between meetings?
Yes. The Secretary opens a circular resolution with a deadline and a pass rule; directors vote from any device, and the outcome is recorded in the decisions register automatically.
Who controls when directors see the papers?
The Corporate Secretary. Release the whole pack with one click, or let papers open as they are uploaded. Members can always see what is still outstanding.
How are confidential papers protected?
Access is by role and committee membership. Papers are watermarked with the reader's name, downloads can be switched off, in-camera papers are restricted, directors with a declared conflict don't see the related papers, and every view is in the audit log.
Can government bodies buy it without a tender?
At J$1.1M–J$1.38M a year it sits within the J$3M single-source limit for goods and services, and Discovery Technologies Jamaica Limited is registered with the Public Procurement Commission. Each entity should confirm the procurement method that applies to it.
